The community dock has been renewed and renamed! ?New pavement, new stripping, new racks, repaired boat ramp, and cleaned out shed. ?Of course new rules.
The first thing you will notice is that all boats, boards and trailers using the facility must have a NEW decal that expires in 2017. ?I’ve been told these adhere better than the older one. There will be a fee — $25 per boat for storage of boards, kayaks, canoes, and dinghies. Larger boats, along with their trailers, that just use the ramp for launching are still free, but now must have an official decal. Please read the new rules page for details.
To help you register, I am attaching a copy of the new rules, a diagram of the rack storage space assignments, and the two types of registration forms. ?I’ll also try to keep an updated copy of the storage assignments at the shed. ?You can mail your completed forms and checks to me (payable to ARPOA) or just drop it off at the house.
We have lost track of 6 boat owners and most ramp users, so please help us find them.
The ARPOA dock committee has selected the after noon of May 1 as “Float Your Boat Day”. ?An afternoon to clean-up your boat and get it into the water.
To register your boats, go to the members’ only section and download a registration form.?
