About Annapolis Roads
In 1926, the original community was planned in the tradition of Frederick Law Olmstead ? the Father of Landscape Architecture ? who pioneered the use of green and open space in community design and whose numerous high-profile projects include the US Capitol and New York?s Central Park. ARPOA is dedicated to preserving this original community vision.
Annapolis Roads Property Owners Association
ARPOA’s mission is to promote a sense of community and to enhance the community?s livability, safety, and welfare, and to preserve the interests of its owners.
Nestled between Lake Ogleton and the Chesapeake Bay, the community of Annapolis Roads features winding roads with wooded lots and an abundance of protected green space and water. Amenities include a community children?s playground next to a grassy overlook with a spectacular view of the Chesapeake and the Bay Bridge; a community beach; and an easily accessible boat ramp.
