Overlook Amenity Improvement Event

Mark Your Calendar for November 5^th – Volunteers Needed

A cleanup effort is being planned for the Overlook to clear and establish two small side by side campsite pads as well as a small trail to the adjacent field, where a bench will be installed.

The proposed date is Saturday, November 5th beginning at 9:30am. Rain date TBD.

Several Annapolis Roads families have camped on the Overlook over the years and others have expressed a desire to have an identified site. The 2 small adjoining campsite pads will provide a recognized space and further increase the opportunity for residents to enjoy our community owned properties. The ARPOA Board approved establishing the campsite pads several years ago, but delayed the work due to COVID restrictions at the time.

More information to follow including a diagram of the area and sites.

Thanks in advance if you are available.

Watershed Stewards Academy Requests Completion of Community Survey

The Anne Arundel County Watershed Stewards Academy (WSA), a nonprofit that trains and mobilizes community leaders, called Watershed Stewards, to take action for clean water is asking for Annapolis Roads residents to participate in a short community survey.

Our community is one in which we have at least one Watershed Steward. WSA is currently doing research to understand the impact Stewards and organization have in their communities and Anne Arundel County. We’ve designed a survey to help them understand the visibility of WSA and our Stewards.

Hello Annapolis Roads Residents,
Please take a few minutes to fill out a survey which is being conducted by the Anne Arundel County Watershed Steward Academy (WSA), a community-based organization working to improve the livability of Anne Arundel County. The survey is intended to capture information that is representative of Anne Arundel County Residents. The survey results will be anonymous and not connected back to you personally. As a thank you for filling out the survey, you will be able to enter to win a $100 Visa gift card. The survey will be open until October 20th.
