ARPOA Special Meeting – Beach Improvement and Protection, April 11, 2023 There was a great turnout for the in-person as well as the Zoom on-line session. We appreciate everyone who took the time to gain more information about the ARPOA Beach Committee’s recommended option for improving and protecting the beach. We apologize for the technical difficulties that were experienced with the Zoom session, as well as the mic failures. We understand the audio was poor and difficult to understand. Unfortunately, our well-intended attempt to accommodate all residents was not as effective as we had hoped and hybrid meetings may suffer from the full in-person experience as a result. The slide presentation has been uploaded to Annapolisroads.net in the beach subfolder “Presentations and Design Plans”. As a reminder, to access the presentation and other documents relevant to the beach project, you must be signed in to Annapolisroads.net. Once signed in go to the MEMBERS ONLY dropdown, select DOCUMENTS FOR RESIDENTS, there will be another dropdown – select ARPOA COMMUNITY BEACH. Click on this and you should see the subfolders which contain numerous documents that have been uploaded for your review. We will continue to add information to the Annapolis Roads website as it becomes available. As a reminder, the next scheduled special meeting on the beach is May 12th and will be held at the Bay Ridge Christian Church. The mailing you received in March will have details for the meetings. The information is also available in the beach subfolder “Meeting Details”. The Board thanks Gretchen Dolan, Jill Mandel, and Carol Tabak for checking residents in. Editor’s note: The West Street Library was a wonderful venue. If you haven’t been there before, or weren’t able to join us Tuesday night in person, we suggest you take an opportunity to visit this state-of-the-art County library.
